Bill Racklin is a deputy sheriff in Greer County Oklahoma, the crystal meth capital of the region. His girlfriend leaves him because he’s inattentive to her, but things look up when his high-school sweetheart, Annie Streets, returns home to care for her ailing mother. Annie’s step-father, Buck Baker, is the local heartless rich guy, buying up farmland. On a stakeout, Rack and two other deputies arrest four men stealing fertilizer to make crystal meth; one of the four is the brother of a notorious Mexican drug dealer. The drug lord arranges Annie’s kidnapping and holds her to ransom his brother. Rack and the deputies, prisoner in tow, head for Mexico to rescue her.

Della Myers is an upper-class housewife that lives in a private condominium in the suburbs with her twin children and her abusive husband Kenneth. Della gives all the attention to the twins, neglecting their house and her appearance and upsetting Kenneth. On the Christmas Eve, she drives to the local mall in the night to buy wrapping paper for the gifts, and she does not find any parking space available. When she sees an old car parked on two spots, she leaves a message to the owner calling him “selfish jerk”. When the mall closes, Della’s car is hold by the driver of the old car and she is threatened by four punks - Chuckie, the Afro-American Huey, the Chinese-American Vingh and the Latin Tomás. When the security guard of the mall protects her, he is shot on the head by Chuckie, Della speeds up her car trying to escape from the criminals. However she crashes her truck nearby a forest while chased by the gang. She takes the toolbox and hides in the wood, fighting against the gang to survive.

A digital 3D presentation that wows viewers with striking 3D effects, Fly Me to the Moon is a retelling of the 1969 Apollo 11 landing on the moon from the perspective of three young flies that allegedly hitched a ride on the historic flight. Nat, IQ, and Scooter live by the credo “If it’s not an adventure, it’s not worth doing,” so when the three flies get a chance to sneak aboard the space shuttle for a ride to the moon, all systems are definitely go. While Grandpa McFly and Nat’s young maggot siblings applaud the boys’ adventuresome spirits, their mothers stereotypically swoon and fret over their safety. The flies encounter several unanticipated twists including the trip’s week-long duration, a short in the ship’s circuitry, a Russian fly plot to sabotage their mission, and their mid-flight imprisonment in a test tube. Nonetheless, the flies manage to enjoy the experience of weightlessness with an in-space ballet interpretation of “Blue Danube” as well as an orange juice feeding frenzy. Fly Me to the Moon will likely spark new interest in space exploration and the United States’ walk on the moon, especially in today’s children, and the filmmakers made a concerted effort to present fairly accurate historical details consistent with NASA’s notes on the historic flight. There’s even an afterword from real astronaut Buzz Aldrin in which he stresses the impossibility of the existence of flies or other contaminants aboard the historic space shuttle.
